Purpose
One of the first questions that often comes to mind for college-bound Christian students is "How is the Lord going to provide tuition?" For many students pursuing a college education, financial provision is a necessity. In response to this ever-increasing need, the Hispanic Assistance Fund was created in 2004 to provide financial assistance to Hispanic students to enable them to pursue a Christian education at BJU. The HAF board members know the importance of a good Christian education and take great care in determining applicant qualifications and eligibility. They are excited to know that through their work with the HAF, more Hispanic students will have the opportunity for training to become pastors, missionaries, and Christian lay workers all over the world.
In a day when racial tensions abound, we who understand the need for Christ-centered Hispanic leaders must actively respond. We know that dealing with the external brings only limited benefit. It is only through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that man will find an answer to all of life's problems and the way to life eternal.
Will you consider partnering with the HAF? Through your support, we will be able to educate and train young Christians to address the issues of our day from a biblical perspective. The Hispanic Assistance Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization and gifts are tax deductible.
It is our desire to see increased enrollment of Hispanic students at BJU; and we trust that through generous contributions from friends like you, many more will have the opportunity to obtain a solid Christian education.
Thank you,
Stephen Jones
